Sajan Surya is a well-known Malayalam serial actor widely known as the Superstar in Malayalam serials. He has won the Asianet Television Awards’ Best Actor Award for two years running in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, his team “Kumkumapovu” won the title of Munch stars on Asianet television.
Sajan showed an interest in acting since he was a youngster. Sajan and some of his closest friends started a theater group during their college years. They had performed on numerous stages for four years but were forced to close due to financial difficulty. Then he began appearing on the small screen in 2000. He has appeared in over 40 television serials since then. Sajan became quite popular among Malayali viewers after playing Mahesh in Kumkumapoovu (Asianet).
