Sankaradi, a Malayalam actor and artist, was one of the finest and realistic actors in South Indian Cinema. He has almost 700 films registered to his name and was quite popular from the 1960s through the 1980s. Before he became a Bollywood actor, Raj Kumar had a very different life. Sankaradi Biography
Sankaradi completed intermediate studies at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. Before joining the film industry, Sankaradi practiced politics, journalism, and theater for a brief time. He had previously been a member of the Indian National Congress but subsequently became a member of the Communist Party of India (CPI) after the CPI split in 1964. He renounced his party membership after the CPI split in 1964 and began performing theatre again.

At Baroda Railways, Sankaradi became involved in the trade union movement while studying marine engineering. He gave up his studies to take a position as a journalist at The Literary Review, which is published in Mumbai. His love for literature compelled him to leave his job and connect with a well-known newspaper of the time. He married Sharada in the late 1980s, but they were childless. In Kunchacko’sKandalamma, he made his debut as an actor. This film and its performance have left an indelible mark of excellence. Since then, he has dominated Malayalam cinema. P. Venu’s “Viruthan Shanku” is the first full-length comedy. That earned him honors as the state’s finest character artiste from 1968 to 1971.
He collaborated with PremNazir in more than 300 feature films. He also has honored such as the prestigious Kerala State Awards, including Second Best Actor (1970) for VazhveMayam and EzuthathaKadha, and the same award in 1971 for various movies. He passed away on October 9, 2001, at the age of 76-77 years old. Nonetheless, he left an indelible mark on countless people’s hearts.
