Kamiya Jani has been married for 8 years. She has a 5 year old daughter. Some people say that she should stay home and take care of her daughter, but she wants to travel the world. She tried to follow what other people thought was right for her, but it never felt right in her heart. Now she is a travel blogger instead of staying at home with her daughter all day.
She started working at the age of 21. She got married when she was 24 and had a daughter when she was 27. She has traveled to 38 countries so far in her life. Kamiya says that her love for travel came from her father, who would take her and her siblings on road trips with their Maruti 800 car to see nature.When she was a child, she would go on trips with her family. They went to beaches and hills. By the time she became a teenager, she had gone on many trips across the country. Often they would stay at their relatives’ house. Her father saved money by driving instead of buying tickets for planes or trains. All these trips made her learn how to travel within a budget, which is what helped her as an adult when she traveled as well.
At the age of 19, her father took the family on their first trip abroad. They visited countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. After she got her job as a reporter, she had to stop travelling because of her busy work life. But one year later, she was sent to Malaysia to cover an F1 race – which is surprising! This opportunity gave her a lot of exposure. She got to interact with foreign journalists who write about travel. Life had more for her though. After years at a desk job, she finally got an opportunity to host her own show. The show required travel and she traveled across the country and also other countries too!
During her time as a travel show host, she visited 20 different countries. After two years of working in the lifestyle and travel show, she met the person she wanted to marry. Following their marriage, she decided to find a job that was less demanding. She gave up her job of being a travel anchor and became an anchor on studio news.
