Geetu Mohandas is a Bollywood actress-filmmaker who is best known for her Hindi films Liars’ Dice, in which was granted an Oscar entry. Gayathri Haridas was Geetu’s birth name. Aradhana, their daughter, was born in December 2011. She began her acting career at the age of five in the Tamil film En Bommukutty Ammavukku. In Onnu Muthal Poojayam Vare, she played a kid actor opposite Mohanlal in the lead part. Ragunath Paleri was in charge of the film. Her performance as a child actress was exceptional. She won the Kerala state film award for best child artist for her work in Onnu Muthal Poojyam Vare later went on to act in several Malayalam and Tamil films.

Geetu Rao was born on October 29, 1973. She began her filmmaking career as a director in Malayalam with the film Kelkkunundo and won two Golden Lamp tree awards for best short fiction and best short film. In 2013, she directed Liars Dice, a Hindi road drama movie with Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the leading roles. Geetu wrote and directed the picture herself.
