Cristina  Danielle Valenzuela, better known by her stage name Cristina Vee, is an American voice actress and voice director who works in the anime, animation, and video game industries. She has voices in English versions of anime shows such as The Familiar of Zero’s Louise and Nanoha Takamachi in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series.

She was born on July 11, 1987, raised in California, and grew up in Norwalk. She aspired to be an animator when she was younger, but after watching Sailor Moon, she decided to pursue voice acting. In January 2018, she announced her engagement to musician/voice actor Nathan Sharp, but the two got separated after some time.

In 2007, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from California State University at Long Beach. She’s been to Anime Expo as a fan several times and has even competed in their AX Idol voice-over contest. In 2004, she auditioned for numerous programs with Bang Zoom! Entertainment, including Samurai Champloo, where she worked some of the equipment and received a card from Wendee Lee to try out for several shows. Her first significant part was Kanaria in Rozen Maiden.

In 2011, she provided the voice of Mio Akiyama in K-On! and Nagisa Saitō in Squid Girl. She appeared in the anime feature film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, which was released in 2012, as Alisa Bosconovitch, traveling to American anime conventions with Japanese writer Dai Satō to promote the picture.

In 2015, she provided the voice of Noel Vermillion in BlazBlue Alter Memory, Compa in Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation, and Hawk in The Seven Deadly Sins, all of which were streamed on Netflix. In 2016, she dubbed the English voice of Killua Zoldyck in the Viz Media anime adaptation of Hunter × Hunter.

In 2015, Vee was cast as Marinette Dupain-Cheng (also known as Ladybug) in the CGI animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The show originally aired on Nickelodeon in December 2015 and has subsequently been released on Netflix and now Disney+ and Disney Channel.

In February 2021, Vee played a character named Verosika Mayday in the web series Helluva Boss and appeared in “Spring Broken,” an episode of the same show.
