Blade Shankar, also known as Sankaranarayanan is a radio disc jockey by trade, is a popular radio personality in India. March 23, 1982, is the birth date of this Tamil Nadu native. He resides in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where he works as a radio disc jockey and comedian. Shankar, who uses the name Willow Shankar, studied chemical engineering at Satyabama University from 2003 to 2006.

He went to Spic Nagar Higher Secondary School in Tuticorin for primary education. Shankar has a passion for playing musical instruments and imitating other artists. Shankar worked as an actor in several motion pictures. He is well-known for Saguni (2012) and Sonna Puriyathu (2013), two films.
He began his acting career with the Tamil film Ula (2018), continued to appear in films including Saguni (2012) and Sonna Puriyathu (2013), who starred in Maragadha Naanayam (2017), Kanaa (2018), and Chithram Pesuthadi 2 (2019). On Suryan FM, Blade hosts the morning shows, Blade No. 1 and Chinna Thampi Periya. After completing his education, he began his career as an RJ in 2003 on Suryan FM. From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a single Jock for the program “Blade No. 1” and a dual jock show Chinna Thampi Periya Thampi, which are still popular among the audience of Chennai.
