Anil Murali is a Malayalam film actor. He has appeared in over 100 Malayalam movies. Before taking on character roles, he began his career as a villain in the film business. Anil Murali began his acting career in Vinayan’s Kanyakumariyil Oru Kavitha as a good guy in 1993. He played an offbeat part in Lenin Rajendran’s Daivathinte Vikrithikal in 1994. In 1999, he acted in Mammootty’s Stalin Sivadas.
It was 2002’s Valkkannadi that gave him a significant role as a villain. He has been featured in Malayalam films since 2002. He is presently on his way to becoming one of the finest bad guys in Malayalam cinema. His villainous part as Nenja Hakkim in Ivar (2003), Raghu in Kayam (2010), and Podiyadi Soman in City of God (2011) was well received. He has also done a variety of character parts in some of the most successful films, including S K in Manikyakallu in 2011 and Davis in Amenway 2013. He’s been a part of numerous recent Malayalam films, such as At Andheri, Double Barrel, Dollphin Bar, Polytechnic, and others.

In Tamil cinema, Anil Murali made his debut in 2013 with V Z Durai’s crime drama 6 Melugu Vathigal. Anil portrays Diwakar, a villainous character who is feminine in his mannerisms, opposite Shaam and Poonam Kaur. In the bilingual Tamil film Nimirndhu Nil (Janda Pai Kapiraju in Telugu), which starred Nani in Telugu and Anil in Tamil, he played the important part of Anil Menon. Amala Paul stars as the heroine in the Telugu version.

Anil is married to Suma, who works at Bharath Matrimonial. They have a son, Adithya, and a daughter, Arundathi. Anil and his family reside in Edappally, Kerala. Anil had been battling liver problems for some time. He had been receiving therapy at a private hospital in Kochi. His body was unable to recover from the medicine, and Anil died on July 30th, 2020 at the age of 56.
