Akkineni Nagarjuna – Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao is an Indian actor, filmmaker, television presenter, and entrepreneur. Nagarjuna has acted in over 100 films, most of which have been in Telugu. He was born on August 29, 1959, in Madras (now Chennai), to screen legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Annapoorna Akkineni. He began his degree in engineering from the Anna University College of Engineering, Guindy, India, where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Akkineni Nagarjuna Biography
Nagarjuna began his career as an actor at a young age, appearing in the Telugu film Sudigundalu when he was only four years old. He made his official acting debut as the main actor in the 1986 film Vikram. He became famous after playing in Mani Ratnam’s romantic drama film titled Geetanjali in 1989. This movie won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film of 1990.
