When Sreejita went out with her friends in Mumbai in January 2019, she met her fiancé Michael Blohm Pape at a restaurant. Michael is a German and got engaged to her. They both are planning to get married in 2022.
Sreejita began her career as a model and has appeared in numerous commercials. In 2008, she made her acting debut in Bollywood with Tashan. Sreejita has worked in a number of movies, including Love Ka The End (2011) and Monsoon Shootout (2017). Sreejita is recognized for her work on television, having been a part of Miley Jab Hum Tum, Piya Rangrezz, and Ladies Special.
She made her television debut with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, playing the part of Gargi Tushar Bajaj in TV series. At the same time, Ekta Kapoor gave her the position of Aastha in Karam Apna Apna. The year after, she played Annu in the soap opera Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah. She played the lead role in Uttaran on Colors TV in 2012.
