Parvathy was a Malayali girl who became the first female pilot of India, flying solo from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh to Leh in Ladakh. She is Shivadas and Uma’s daughter and grew up in Aluva, Kerala. She completed her studies at the Sree Sankara College in Kalady, earning a diploma in Microbiology. Deepak Nambiar, a software engineer based in Dubai, was her husband. They divorced soon after owing to fundamental incompatibilities.
She started her career as an anchor for the program Dew Drops in Kairali and went on to anchor Kairali TV’s Tharolsavam. Sugeeth’s Ordinary (2012) was her debut as an actress, after which she became known as the “Gavi Girl” by the public and media. She subsequently appeared in a brief appearance in Scene Onnu Nammude Veedu as Nimmi, a girl caught up in a mystery thriller at 10:30 am local call. Her following project was Money Back Policy, directed by Jayaraj Vijay. In March 2013, Shritha announced that she would be leaving the Malayalam film industry to pursue a career in Tamil cinema. “Honestly, I am dissatisfied with the roles that are offered here (Malayalam)”, she added. She also signed several films in Malayalam, including Hangover, Rasputin Weeping Boy, Koothara, and Onnum Mindathe despite her prior statement.
