Shinichiro Miki is a Japanese voice actor from Tokyo. He is a member of 81 Produce. Miki’s distinctive purr and peaceful delivery have made him famous in the roles he has been cast in. Yūsuke is frequently cast as a young male in anime, such as Youji Kudou – Balinese (Weiß Kreuz) and Kojirō (“James”) (Pokémon), who is often played by handsome young men.

After spending some time in Japan, he decided to pursue a career as a voice actor after watching numerous anime, such as Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, Fist of the North Star, and Dragon Ball.
He won an audition for a talent management firm in his second year of high school. Although most voice actors in Japan are represented by talent agencies, Miki is not because he is employed by 81Production.
After graduating from Waseda University, he began acting in plays and continued after. He made his stage debut in 1986 as a stage actor and radio personality before turning to voice acting in 1991.
Miki Weiß is also a vocalist in the four-person band Weiss, alongside Takehito Koyasu, Tomokazu Seki, and Hiro Yuki. Miki is also active in BL dramas. He was acknowledged for his performance in supporting roles at the fourth Seiyu Awards.
In addition to voicing Kojirō, Miki (alongside Mika Kanai, Satomi Kōrogi, Unsho Ishizuka, and many other Japanese voice actors) also appears in the Japanese and English versions of Pokémon creatures such as Misty’s Staryu, Brock’s Zubat/Golbat/Crobat and Ash’s Charizard.
Miki also played Sieg in Kamen Rider Den-O.
He is currently the official voice of Danny Zeng, Daniel Wu, Jung Woo-sung, Michael Fassbender, and many more.
