Seshu Shankar, better known by his stage name Shakalaka Shankar, is an Indian actor who works in Telugu-language films. Shankar is one of the highest-paid Telugu film comedians in 2017 for his comedic parts.

Shankar was born and raised in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district. He married his cousin Parvathi in 2016.
Shankar quit school in the 10th grade and migrated to Hyderabad in 2002 to pursue a career in the film industry. He worked as a painter for several years before taking various employment in the film business, including light-man and office boy.
Shankar was given his chance in the notebook (2007). He went on to appear in the comedy program Jabardasth, where he gained popularity. [1] Shankar subsequently made his film debut. In 2017, he starred in Anando Brahma, which was a box-office success. When it comes to his function, a critic noted that “Shakalaka Shankar brings the house down when he mimics well-known actors and their iconic speeches to confuse the specter.”
He began his career as a supporting artist, having appeared in several comic roles before debuting as a lead actor with Shambho Shankara (2018). Later that year, he played the protagonist of Driver Ramudu, which has yet to be released. Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan is his hero.
Shankar played Ram Gopal Varma in Parannageevi, which was released in 2020. He will reprise the role in the biopic. Shankar has two more films under production, Lord Grandfather and Bomma Adirindi – Dimma Tirigindi, both of which feature him in the lead.
