Padiyath Kochumoideen Kunjalu, known by his stage name Bahadoor, and was an Indian actor and comedian who, with Adoor Bhasi, revolutionized the way in which comedy and funny scenes were interpreted in Malayalam cinema. They made a significant contribution to the growth of comedy as the most popular type of film in Kerala. Bahadoor also worked in non-comedic films and on professional stages. His final role was that of Joker, which premiered shortly after his death.

Bahadoor Biography

In 1996, Bahadoor fulfilled his desire to be a hero by signing up for the film Neelisali, opposite actress Kanchana. He played the main part in another Malayalam drama Mucheettukalikkarante Makal, this time about Basheer, the renowned Malayalam author. Whenever he had free time, Bahadoor enjoyed stage plays and performed dramas on stage. Vallatha Pahayan and Manikya Kottaram are two of his greatest theater plays. The idea of setting up a lab to process black-and-white films captured his attention and prompted him to establish K. C. Lab as a studio for processing such pictures.
