He began his career as a high school student, playing a minor part in a Fuji TV drama called ‘Rokudenashi Blues.’ After graduating from Fukuoka Prefectural Kitakyushu Commercial High School, he attended Nihon University College of Art’s Theater Department. Satoshi is a Japanese hip-hop artist who goes by the stage name Basking Lite. He has released five albums and is recognized for his song “Bokura no Natsu,” which was featured in the anime series “Aria.” His music is a collaborative effort with talented artists, including EMI Music.
In 2007, Satoshi was again recognized by the Japan Academy Awards for his role in ‘Waterboys.’ He was nominated for the ‘Best Supporting Actor award, and though he did not win, he is still active in films and television with his band.
