In 2008, he made his cinematic debut in Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008), directed by Srikanth Addala. The film features Varun Sandesh, Shweta Prasad, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh. It received two Nandi Awards.
In Ram Gopal Varma’s romantic comedy film Rangeela (1995), he began his career as an Executive-in-Charge of Production. He has worked as an Executive-in-Charge of Production in several films, including Deyam (1996), Anaganaga Oka Roju (1997), Chandralekha (1998), Samudram (1999), Shakti: The Power (2002), Murari (2001), and Khadgam (2002). He has previously served as Production Manager on Telugu films Money, Gulabi, and Anaganaga Oka Roju.
In 2002, he began making films independently, and his first was the Telugu musical blockbuster Kalusukovalani.He’s also directed and produced movies including Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw and Pothe Poni, which won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film in 2006. The pair worked together on a number of blockbuster Tamil films, including Magadheera, Naayak, Yedavu, Govindudu Andarivadele, and the highly divisive action comedy film Bruce Lee — The Fighter. They also completed work on Rangasthalam.
