He submitted his applications to the National School of Drama, Film, and Television Institute of Pune, as well as the Madras Film Institute immediately after finishing his education. He was accepted at the Madras Film Institute. He was the top student at that institute, as far as I know. Hennu Samsarada Kannu is his first film in Kannada.
