Nyra Banerjee is a popular Indian film and television actress. She has worked in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries. As well as being featured on the Hindi TV series Divya Drishti. Nyra was born on May 14, 1987, in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a middle-class Bengali family. She is actually known as Madhurima Banerjee, but she changed her name to Nyra in 2016. She has an older brother in the household. After that, she attended Canossa Convent High School in Mumbai, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in law. She is, however, aiming to join the Indian film business.

At the age of 15, Banerjee began her career as a child actor. After playing a significant part in Toss: A Flip of Destiny, she became well-known director Priyadarshan cast her in the lead female role in his film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal. She also featured in Telugu films such as Aa Okkadu and Saradaga Kasepa, Orange, among others. After three years of being called by her birth name, Banerjee took on the name “Nyra” and starred in One Night Stand with that new moniker. In 2019, Banerjee made her debut in the Hindi television industry, playing Divya Sharma Shergill (lead role) in Star Plus’ Divya Drishti. The audience was ecstatic about her performance. She has since appeared in Excuse Me Ma’am, alongside Rajesh Kumar and Sucheta Khanna.
