Ganesh Venkatraman – Ganesh Venkatraman is a Tamil and Telugu actor who works in both languages. He had worked in Radha Mohan’s Abhiyum Naanum (2008) before appearing in Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) and Kandahar (2010), both of which were directed by Radha Mohan.

Ganesh began his acting career in Tamil television by appearing in Antariksh and Mayavi, the first 3D telecast. He made his cinematic debut with The Angrez (2006), an innovative crossover film produced primarily in Hyderabadi Urdu that failed to attract any more film offers.

He subsequently made his debut in Tamil films with Radha Mohan’s family drama, Abhiyum Naanum (2008). Ganesh successfully auditioned for the part in Mumbai by showing up dressed as the Sikh character in the film, prompting the producers to believe that he was a Punjabi. Ganesh has starred in many hit Tamil films since then, notably as the antagonist in Prakash Raj’s Ganesh which was a commercial success. Ganesh will next be seen as a supporting character in Vanangamudi, where he’ll play a police officer alongside Aravind Swamy. His lengthy-delayed Hindi film, Guns of Banaras, which stars him with Vinod Khanna, is set to have a theatrical release late in the year.
