Nivin Pauly graduated from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology in Kochi with a bachelor’s degree in technology. He was soon employed by one of India’s major IT firms, Infosys, after graduation. But he soon grew bored with his profession and so decided to pursue a career in modeling and acting. He auditioned for the Malayalam film Malarvaadi Arts Club but didn’t get chosen. However, he received another opportunity after one of the shortlisted individuals backed out and joined the production. As a result, he made his acting debut. Following this, he appeared in Metro where he was teamed up with Bhavana and Sarath Kumar.
