Mirchi Senthil (Senthil Kumar) is an Indian actor and television presenter who has appeared in films and on television. He began his career as a radio jockey at the station Radio Mirchi. He played the title role in STAR Vijay’s popular drama Saravannan Meenatchi.

On July 2, 2014, Senthil and his co-star Sreeja Chandran married in a private ceremony in Tirupathi. Senthil was born on October 18, 1978, in Chennai to S. Govindan and Premavathy. He went to Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Chennai for his education. Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Madurai Kamaraj University.

He began his career as a banker before shifting to the entertainment sector. He married Sreeja Chandran, who played his Madurai and Saravanan Meenatchi Tamil serials co-star in Malayalam-Tamil. In celebration of their marriage, his sudden engagement announcement generated a buzz among their millions of worldwide followers. Senthil began his career as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi, Chennai in 2003.
He has served in several capacities including as a radio producer, EP, and programming head. Senthil next took up the position of general manager at Coimbatore station Radio Mirchi for 4 years. Mirchi has hosted a number of shows, including Mirchi Gold, Mirchi Bazaar, Pettai Raap, and Love Talkies.
He is presently working on a culture based series entitled Neenga Nana Raja Sir, which is a unique program about Ilaiyaraaja music that runs from 9:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. This is a very successful show, and it was praised and approved by Ilaiyaraaja himself. He finished the previous show in 2016 May, then started a new one called ” Sentilin Sutta Kadhai,” which features amazing short moral tales from all over the world.
