Maniyanpilla Raju is the stage name for Sudheer Kumar, is an Indian actor and producer who works in the Malayalam film industry. His debut feature was Mohiniyaattam in 1976. He has appeared in over 400 films as a character actor. His stage name was derived from the role he played in Maniyanpilla Adhava Maniyanpilla (1981), his breakthrough role. He was born in Trivandrum, Kerala, as the youngest of four children in a family of Shekharan Nair and Saraswati Amma. He has two sisters, Ramani and Radha, as well as a brother Surendran. He went to Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School for his primary education. In Defeat Film Institute, Chennai (now Chennai), he completed his diploma in acting course during 1973–1975.

He debuted in Renjith’s Black Butterfly with the younger son Niranj, who became a writer and authored a book titled Chirichum Chirippichum. He wrote a book titled Chirichum Chirippichum in 2012 and released it. In Kannur, he launched an eatery called Be At Kiwizo that features Kerala’s first robot servers. Sudheer Kumar, better known as Maniyanpilla Raju, is a South Indian film actor who has primarily acted in Malayalam films. After his film Maniyanpilla Adhava Maniyanpilla in which he played the part named Maniyanpilla, he changed his name to Maniyanpilla Raju. Mohiniyattam was his debut work, which was directed by Sreekumaran Thampur.

Karthikeyan has appeared in more than 200 films during his on-screen presence. He was born on April 20, 1955, to Saraswati Amma and Shekharan Nair in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. His family is originally from Thycaud. Surendran, Ramani, and Radha are his four siblings. He completed his primary education at the Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram before studying at Victory Tutorial College that. After completing school, he attended Victory Tutorial College.
He attended Adyar Film Institute in Chennai and received a diploma in photography in 1975. His biography was published in 2012 as Chirichum Chirickchoo. He got married to Indira and sired two sons with her: Sachin, the oldest, and Niranjan, the younger. With his younger son, Niranjan Renjith’s Black Butterfly debuted as a director.
