Mamukkoya Biography
Mamukkoya was born to Chalikandiyil Muhammed and Imbachi Ayisha in a Muslim family in Kozhikode. He studied at MM Highschool in Kozhikode. He now lives near Calicut, where he has resided his entire life. Mamukkoya made his film debut in the 1979 film Anyarude Bhoomi. His next job was in the film Doore Doore Oru Koodu Koottam, directed by Sibi Mayil. After that, well-known filmmaker Sathyan Anthikkad noticed him and offered him a chance. This paved the way for Mamukkoya to be cast in Nadodikkattu as Gafoor, alongside Mohanlal and Sreenivasan. This was Mamukkoya’s first breakthrough performance, establishing him as an industry specialist.
