Captain Raju was an Indian army officer and Indian actor who performed in more than 600 films in several languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and English. He was most recognized for his villainous roles and as a supporting character. He has directed two Malayalam films and acted in television serials and commercials. In Nadodikkattu, the comic professional assassin persona called Pavanayi played by Captain Raju became a cult figure in Malayalam cinema. Mr. Pavanayi 99.99 is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed by Captain Raju, in which he plays Pavanayi once again.
Captain Raju Biography
Raju was the third of K. G. Daniel and Annamma’s seven children, and he was born in Omallur. He has four sisters named Elizabeth, Saji, Sophy, Sudha, as well as two brothers, George and Mohan. His parents were both teachers at Govt. UP School Omalloor. He played volleyball during his school days. He is also known for his work in the Tamil cinema, notably including August 1 (1988), Nadodikkattu (1987), Simon Peter Ninakku Vendi (1988), Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha (1989), Chakravarthy (1991), My Dear Karady (1999), War & Love (2003) and Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja (2009). He made his directorial debut with Itha Oru Snehagatha, a film that was released in 1997.

Captain Raju was born in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, and is a Malayalam film actor who has played supporting roles as well as the villain.
