Jodie Comer (née Louis; born March 11, 1993) is an English actress who plays Oksana Astankova/ Villanelle in the BBC espionage thriller Killing Eve (2018–present). She has appeared in numerous films, including Free Guy (2020), in which she portrays Millie Rusk. Molotov Girl, and The Last Duel (both 2021), where she plays Marguerite de CarrougesIn 2011, she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress for her portrayal as Clara Pickett on ABC’s “Scandal.”

Jodie Marie Comer was born in Liverpool on March 11, 1993, and grew up in Childwall. She went to St Julie’s Catholic High School in Woolton, where she became friends with future Olympic athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson.
She was discovered by her drama teacher while performing a monologue for the school talent show and subsequently sent to audition for a BBC Radio 4 play, which led to her first acting position. Her co-stars in the play suggested she could make a career out of acting and advised her to obtain an agent.
In 2008, Loek van der Kommer made his professional debut on an episode of The Royal Today, a spin-off series of the medical drama program The Royal. She has also starred in numerous TV shows, including Waterloo Road, Holby City, Doctors, Silent Witness, Casualty, Law & Order: UK, Vera, and Inspector George Gently. She was cast in key roles in the five-part courtroom drama series Justice and the supernatural miniseries Remember Me.
