Chris Parnell (Thomas Christopher Parnell) b. February 5, 1967, is an American actor and comedian who has appeared on Saturday Night Live since 1998. He portrays Dr. Leo Spaceman on 30 Rock.. In animation, he played Cyril Figgis on FX’s Archer and Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, as well as the narrator of PBS Kids’ WordGirl. He also voices “The Progressive Box” in a series of commercials created by the Progressives.

Parnell went on to study theater at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and then relocated to the city for an apprentice actor program at the Alley Theatre for a year. Unfortunately, he was not invited back to the company.
