Sriman is an Indian film actor who works mainly in Tamil films and a few Telugu ones. He began his career as a mimicry artist, later switching to acting. Sriman was born in Gollala Mamidada, Rajamundry EGDT, Andhra Pradesh. His father Karri Prakash is a well-known dancer. He also served as an assistant dance director and production executive for his brother’s firm before launching his own film company.
Sriman Biography
Jaya Lakshmi is his mother. He has two siblings, a brother Prabhakaran and a sister Surekha. His uncle K. S. Reddy was the first prominent solo Dancer in the film industry, as well as a popular dance director and actor who appeared in several films.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai. He began his career as a child actor in 1975 and was a huge lover of acting. From dance masters Vasantha Mam, film dancing from Sivashankar, Kala, and Raghu, he learned Bharathanatyam.

He is also an experienced horse rider, well-versed in martial arts from master Sekar (Kung fu) and silambam from Gopal and Pandian masters, as well as several other styles of dance.
After working as a child actor in Telugu films from the age of 7, he began his film career as a youngster and worked steadily until 1999. He returned to pursue his academic career after filming a few movies. In Telugu drama Dongalunnaru Jagartha, he regained his acting crown after college.
The film was a failure. In the 1990s, he had minor parts in several adventure films as the hero’s friend. Vikraman spotted him and gave him a role as a supporting character in his Tamil debut movie Pudhiya Mannargal.
He has acted in supporting roles in the Vijay ventures Love Today and Engeyum Eppodhum, which he views as a watershed moment in his career.
From the 2000s onward, he has been a regular in Kamal Haasan’s comedy flicks, including Pammal K. Sambandam, Panchathantiram, and Manmadan Ambu.
He was a recurring character in the mid-2000s, playing important parts in adult-themed movies including Sorry Enaku Kalyanamayidichu (2005), Unarchigal (2005), and Sati Savithr, which has yet to be released.
