He studied further and eventually became an officer in the BSNL. He served in Secunderabad as part of his employment, living in Sangareddy. This was when he came into contact with several stage troupes that perform stage dramas. He gained entry to Amrutham TV series as a result of this performance.

He has directed plays and short films. Naripeddi is a comedian who sometimes uses humor to highlight society’s dark side. He is well-known for his portrayal of Appaji in Amrutham TV drama, which revolves around an old man who adopts a widow’s baby boy and raises him as his grandson.

His television work includes Amrutham (2001-2007), Ammamma.com, Nanna, Manga Taayaru, Radha Madhu, and Amrutham Dhvitheeyam (2020–2021) among others.

He has made more than 140 films, the majority of which are comedy. His movies include Ikkegarenagalu, Grahanam, Amrutham The Comedy Of Power, Nijam Cheppindi, Chanti (2011 film), Parugu Pandavulu Istapaddanu Thodu, and more.

He has won two Nandi Awards, five CineMAA Awards, one SIIMA Award, and four Best Comedian honors as an actor. In 1994, he won a total of three Best Director’s honors. He has received one Nandi Award and five CineMAA Awards as a producer. He has won 7 CineMAA Awards, 6 SIIMA Awards, and 2 Best Comedian honors for Arutham Tv Show. He received four SIIMA Awards for his performance in the film Nanna.
