Shahnawaz Pradhan is an Indian television and film actor best known for his role as Sindbad the Sailor in Alif Laila (1993–97), a fantasy series, and Hafiz Saeed in Phantom. He has also appeared in the Marathi series Kahe Diya Pardes, which aired on Zee Marathi.

Shahnawaz Pradhan is an Indian film actor who played the voice of Sugreev in the TV series Hanuman in 2005 and has since appeared on television shows such as 24: India and the Better Life Foundation. He made an appearance in a 2012 Hindi film called Chal Pichchur Banate Hain, which featured Rahil Tandon and Bhavna Ruparel.

Shahnawaz has also appeared in the 2017 Shah Rukh Khan film Raees as Ujjwalbhai. Shahnawaz’s other 2017 work includes the sci-fi comedy Bollywood movie Mangal Ho, which stars Pritish Chakraborty and is directed, written, and a story co-written by him.

  • He has also played roles on Colors’ Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka and on SAB TV’s Tota (again, played by Navneet Kaur), the uncle of Tota. He acted as Irani in the 2012 Hindi family comedy-drama film Chal Pichchur Banate Hain; this was his directorial debut.
  • In 2015, he played the part of Haaris Saeed, the mastermind behind the Mumbai Attacks in Kabir Khan’s action thriller Phantom. The novel by S. Hussain Zaidi was adapted for the film. After the 2012 Mumbai attacks, it covers five years of events.
