Sasi Kalinga is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, and went by the name Chandrakumar throughout his childhood. He didn’t come from a show-business or acting family. He studied at St. Joseph’s Boys’ Higher Secondary School in Vellore. Prabhavathi was his wife. In his long career in Kerala cinema, he has portrayed a range of serious parts in many movies. He is not a celebrity who only seeks fame and recognition; rather, he has given outstanding performances in many of his movies. His distinctive acting style and speech delivery set him apart from other performers and demonstrate his devotion to Malayalam cinema. In 2009, Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakthinte Katha was released, in which he played a serious part. Pranchiyettan & the Saint followed in 2010. Indian Rupee (2011) and several others were also produced.
