She began working as a marketing consultant for Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys in 2010.
A modelling recruiter brought her to advertising executives, who subsequently sought her out. After that, she took dance lessons from Shiamak Davar and worked with Ratan Thakore Theatre Group to enhance her acting abilities. Between January 2013 and early 2014, she looked for acting work in the Tamil and Kannada film industries and signed her first contract deals.
