Rukmini Maitra – Rukmini Maitra is an Indian actress and model. After establishing herself in the fashion world, she made her movie debut in 2017. She appeared in five movies with Dev. Her most recent release is Switzerland. Rukmini made her Bollywood debut with Vidyut Jammwal in the 2021 film Sanak. Rukmini was born on June 27, 1991, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Her father was Mr. Soumyendra Nath Maitra and her mother is Mrs. Madhumita Maitra.
Maitra made his debut in the silver screen with the Bengali film Champ, which was released during Eid, 2017. Raj Chakraborty directed the film. It is inspired by boxing, a topic that has never been explored in Bengali cinema before.
She also worked in the Bengali Film Cockpit, which came out the same year. The drama film Cockpit is directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and distributed by Dev.
She made her Bollywood debut with 2021 Sanak, a Hindi film along with Vidyut Jammwal.
She is also a part of the Malayalam film ‘Sneha,’ released in 2017 with director Lal Jose and Mammootty, as well as the Tamil film ‘Nenjirukkum Varai.’
She has worked with A. R. Rahman on five occasions, including the 2016 MasterCard and Studio Rio 2017 campaign, Gujarati Film ‘Khari Baar’ opposite Arpit Sharma. She appeared in a cameo role in Chak De India 2 alongside Shahrukh Khan.
