Rob Delaney (born January 19, 1977) is an American comedian and actor. He was a co-star and co-writer on the TV series Catastrophe, as well as a performer in action comedies like Deadpool 2 (2018) and Hobbs & Shaw (2019), both of which were released in 2018.

In December 2011, it was announced that Rob Delaney would produce a pilot for a comedy variety program called @RobDelaney for Comedy Central. However, the series did not get picked up.
The series follows the characters after they get together following a one-night stand while he is in the United Kingdom on business and then moves there permanently.
At an undisclosed time, Delaney married his wife, Leah. They have four children together and have lived in London for a long period of time. In February 2018, it was revealed that their son Henry had passed away at the age of two and a half in January after receiving extensive treatment for a brain tumor since 2016.
He credited Graham Linehan for his rise in popularity, noting that after the Irish writer started interacting with his tweets, he began getting a lot of attention. In 2010, Paste magazine rated him one of the top ten Twitter funny people. He became only the second comedian to win The Comedy Awards’ “Funniest Person on Twitter” award in May.
