Prathapachandran was a Malayalam actor from Pathanamthitta, Kerala. He was born in Omallur, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala in 1941. He got married and has three amazing children: Prathibha, Anoop, and Deepak. He attended school only until the 9th grade. His school years were filled with beautiful childhood memories including numerous awards for dramas, fancy dress events, and so on. With his love for acting, he created a strong impression of his character roles time after time. He moved to Kollam at the age of 14 with the goal of landing film offers. He spent three years in Madras. Despite not receiving any parts at first, he did not give up or lose hope.
