Naveen Kaushik, an actor hailing from Delhi, started working in Delhi theatre from the age of 17 in 1999. After a summer of learning and performing with The Theatre Action Group (TAG) under the tutelage of Barry John, he worked with many groups in the Delhi college theatre circuit before joining Act One Art Group in 2002. Working under Mr. NK Sharma, Naveen began his training in acting that would lead him to move to Mumbai in 2009. A son of Doctors, Naveen was always involved with the extracurricular arts in school. Studying in Delhi’s General Raj’s School, he discovered his passion for everything artistic and performance-driven.

He did his graduation from Delhi where he took himself to the acting field. In his college days, he joined a street theater society ‘The Act One’. With this theater group, he underwent training in several fields like directing, acting, set designing and writing. He identified and strengthened his talent by performing in the streets of different states. His notable performances are Sansadiya Samiti Ki Uthak Baithak, Mumbai Khabar, Dekh Main Phir Phir Karunga, Kashmir, American Pilot. After working for seven years with the theater society, The Act One, Navin’s skills of acting were well polished, and he thought to put his first step in the world of screens. In 2008, he was awarded his first golden opportunity of the role of the protagonist’s lawyer in the super hit movie Dev D. In 2009, Navin moved to the Mumbai to make his career in Bollywood. After living about one month in Mumbai, he did the role of Nitin Rathore in the Yashraj Production, Rocket Singh, Salesman of the year.
