Ganesh Venkatraman – Ganesh Venkatraman is a Tamil and Telugu actor who works in both languages. He had worked in Radha Mohan’s Abhiyum Naanum (2008) before appearing in Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) and Kandahar (2010), both of which were directed by Radha Mohan.
Ganesh began his acting career in Tamil television by appearing in Antariksh and Mayavi, the first 3D telecast. He made his cinematic debut with The Angrez (2006), an innovative crossover film produced primarily in Hyderabadi Urdu that failed to attract any more film offers.

He subsequently made his debut in Tamil films with Radha Mohan’s family drama, Abhiyum Naanum (2008). Ganesh successfully auditioned for the part in Mumbai by showing up dressed as the Sikh character in the film, prompting the producers to believe that he was a Punjabi. His role as Trisha’s Punjabi’s Fiance.
Ganesh has starred in many hit Tamil films since then, notably as the antagonist in Prakash Raj’s Ganesh which was a commercial success. Since working with Prakash Raj, Ganesh has received several more offers to appear in supporting roles in movies with veteran actors. He played a police officer in Unnaipol Oruvan 2009.
Following his initial three films, which were all successful at the box office, his subsequent releases have done less well. He played the bad guy in Thodari (2016) and Nayaki (2016), receiving poor reviews and performing poorly at the box office. Ganesh’s next two investigative thriller movies fared similarly.
