Expressway Division and Completion Targets

The Dwarka Expressway is strategically divided into four packages, with the Gurgaon section playing a crucial role, featuring elements like the cloverleaf interchange that links the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (NH-48) and the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) near Kherki Daula. Deputy Commissioner Yadav has presented a comprehensive overview of key infrastructure initiatives scheduled for 2024. Noteworthy among these is the Rs 136 crore drainage project, aiming to construct a new drain from Vatika Chowk to SPR. This endeavor aims to mitigate waterlogging challenges along the Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur National Highway and sectors 15 to 20. Additionally, significant progress is being made in the development of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) in Dhanwapur and Chandu villages, with a designated budget of Rs 250 crore.
