Arvind Vaidya is a prominent theatre artist, actor, and director, best known for his role as Chandrakant in the popular comedy series and film Khichdi. He completed his graduation from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad doing a diploma in drama. He is 67 years old. His daughter, Vandana Pathak, is also a TV actress, and interestingly, the two co-starred in Khichdi. Arvind has been in several highly successful shows during his career some of which have been a cultural reset, including Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai, Saas Bina Sasural, Khichdi, and his most recent Anupamaa. His start has been from the theaters of Gujarat, He made his Gujarati film debut in 1992 with “Hun HunshiHunsilal,” and his Hindi cinema debut in 1993 with “Maya Memsaab.” His television acting debut was with the show “Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka.”
