Anju Aravind, a Kannur native, was born in 1991. She married a relative but the marriage did not last long. Later, she married Vinaya Chandran, an entrepreneur from Kerala, and they had a daughter. After many years away from the screen, she has recently returned to acting. She was a renowned dancer who took part in all of the film’s stage shows during her most successful performing days. She still likes to dance and teaches children about it. After appearing on Kairlai TV’s celebrity kitchen magic show, she made a stunning comeback. She is also a regular presence on “Taste Time,” a food show aired on Asianet. She has previously been seen on another well-known series called “Comedy Stars” presented by Asianet.

In 1991, she made her cinematic debut in Venal Kinavukal. She began working in the film industry in 1991 and continued until 2001. Following marriage, she largely withdrew from the screen but did so three to four years apart. She came back into prominence after playing the part of “Rema” as a highway police officer in 2006’s Sringaravelan After 7 years, she reprised her role as “Avatharam” in 2018. She has also been dubbed for Sandhya in Three Kings (2007).
