Zakir Hussain is an Indian actor known for his comedic and villainous roles. His finest performance was in 2005’s Sarkar, as Rasheed, a don from Dubai, where he was famous for doing comic and unpleasant parts. Johnny Gaddaar (2007), directed by Sriram Raghavan, is the next neo-noir film. He is Shardul, one of the groups of criminals who runs a gambling club with Vikram (played by ), Prakash (by Vinay Pathak), Swshadri (Dharmendra), and Shiva (acted by Dayanand Shetty). He was widely known throughout the city, and people started referring to him as Shardul. This is the film that paid him well and made him famous.
Zakir Hussain Biography
From a very young age, Zakir has been interested in the performing arts. He comes from Janikhurd Tehsil of Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh and was born and raised there. When he was studying in New Delhi, he became enthralled with theaters and movies. Then, while working as a small-time actor at Mandi House’s Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, he began his professional career. He also joined the National School of Drama after graduating from university in 1993.
