O. A. K. Sundar made his film debut in 1992 with Nadodi Pattukkaran (1992). He appeared in supporting roles in several films, including Virumaandi (2004) and Naan Avanillai (2007). In a review of Anantharaj’s work in Iyer IPS, a critic stated that “Anantharaj and O.A.K. Sunder (dada’s sons) are decent.” He was praised for his Bheeshma role in the television series Mahabharatam. After working on numerous television series, he decided to focus solely on movies. He has subsequently played unpleasant people in several movies, including Kidaari (2016), and Rocky: The Revenge (2019).
