Kshitee was born and reared in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, into a Marathi-Hindu family. She is the daughter of Anant Jog and Ujwala Jog. She completed her studies at Ruia College in Mumbai, India, where she is still studying. As a performer, she made her debut in 2005 with the film Saha September. She subsequently appeared in Sanshay Kallol and Mai in 2013. In 2019, she acted in two movies: Anandi Gopal and Hirkani. She was seen as an actress and producer in 2021’s Jhimma. In 2021, she acted as an actress and producer in the film Jhimma. She did films, too. From 2004 through 2006, she played Sonya Painter née Sarabhai in the TV series Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She subsequently acted in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann (2006-2009) as a main character. She has acted in a number of movies and dramas since 2010, including Aapki Antara, Damini, and Maan Rahe Tera Pitaah. In the well-known TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she played the part of mother. She was seen in another television program in 2019 called Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. Aside from that, she had a role in the internet series Mismatched in 2020.
