A.C. Zainuddin was born on May 12, 1952, in Kochi, India. He was a comedy actor and mimicry artist from India. He married Laila and is a Hindi teacher at school. They have two children: Zinil, an Engineer, and Zinsil, an MBA student. He began his professional career as a mimicry artist in Cochin Kalabhavan, Kerala, in the early 1980s. He has always had the talent for mimicking famous personalities. He was so good that he could perfectly imitate the actor known as Madhu. With the 1986 film “Onnu Muthal Poojaym Vare,” he started his career in Malayalam cinema.

Zainuddin Biography

Onnu Muthal Poojaym Vare was directed by Raghunath Paleri and Zainuddin played Santa Claus in the film. The movie became a success, and Zainuddin received more job offers from various film producers. His second project was “Indrajaalam” (1990), where he played Kuttan. Zainuddin began his career after gaining popularity in television advertisements. Later, he was given the chance to work with Malayalam star producers like P. A. Bakkar. Zainuddin was invited to appear in “Chappa” by Bakkar (K). Since 2000, he has starred in over 150 Malayalam movies. Ismail Hassan’s 1997 film “Siamese Irattakal” featured him for the first time.

Zainuddin received outstanding reviews for his work in this film. Zainuddin played the part of conjoined twin Maniyanpilla Raju in Siamese Irattakal. Zainuddin’s last film was “Ezhupunna Tharakan,” which was produced by P. G. Viswambharan and was a music-related project. Zainudin liked music and social causes. He was a prominent member of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). He has taken part in many AMMA charity events. He had respiratory problems in the late 1990s, and he died at Kochi’s private hospital on November 4th, 1999.
