Srinath Vasishta was born on September 5, 1982, in Bangalore, India. His father is Basavaraj Vasishta and his mother is Padmavathi Vasishta. He has a brother named Shankara who is fourteen months older than him. He studied at St. Joseph’s Indian High School and completed a pre-university course from National College Basavanagudi. He then graduated with a degree in mass communication from Bangalore University.
He started his career as a dubbing artist and has lent his voice to many prominent actors in the Kannada film industry. His work in the television serial, Mannina Maga, earned him the prestigious Karnataka State Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Role.
