Rimi Tomy Kizhakoodan is an Indian singer and television presenter. She was born on September 22, 1983, in Kottayam, Kerala, to Tomy Joseph and Rani (a Syro Malabar-Nasrani family). She has two siblings: Rinu Tomy and a brother named Rinku Tomy. Beginning with her voice, she rose to prominence. In 1997, she began anchoring for Doordarshan’s “Gaanavedhi: An interview with K.P Udayabhanu,” among other musical programs. In 2002, she performed her first solo song “Chingamassam” as a part of the film Meesa Mahadevan directed by Lal Jose. Since then, she has hosted numerous musical programs and reality shows for both national and international channels, including Mazhavil Manoram, Kairala TV, and Asianet. In 1998, after her Doordarshan appearance ended in 1998, she hosted a program called “Dum Dum Dum Pi Pi Pi” on Kerala TV. From 2000 onwards, she has starred in Asianet News as a presenter of the show “SiIver Storm Fan” (2000-2001).
