Peter Serafinowicz is an English actor, comedian, director, and screenwriter. He is best recognized for his work as Pete in Shaun of the Dead (2004) and as the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999).He has been seen in several British and American comedy programs. He played The Tick’s title character in the 2016 live-action adaptation, and his political satire videos in which he dubs over images of Donald Trump with a variety of comedic voices have gotten him attention.

In 1993, he made his radio debut on the Radio 1 program The Knowledge, a spoof documentary about the music business. He appeared in the Radio 4 comedy series Week Ending, Harry Hill’s Fruit Corner, Grievous Bodily Radio, The Two Dannys, and A Whole New Ball Game.
In 1999, he played Tim Bisley’s (Simon Pegg) nemesis, Duane Benzie, in the Channel 4 comedy series Spaced. In 2001, he made another cameo appearance in the show when it resumed.
He made numerous appearances on both television and radio panel shows as a guest.
