Nellie Sciutto is an actor who studied Chinese and business before training at The Actors Studio in Her hometown, New York City. When she moved to NYC, her acting teacher, Ivana Chubbuck, to,d her she was funny…to laugh at. Career: Sciutto has appeared in many series of television comedies and dramas throughout the 1990s and through today. A recurring role on The Bold & The Beautiful and guest appearances on shows such as Murphy Brown, Suddenly Susan, Men Behaving Badly and Just Shoot Me! eventually led to more serious roles on CSI, JAG, Entourage and Law & Order. She also eventually caught the eye of Martin Scorsese and has appeared in four films which he directed; The Aviator, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street, and most memorable as Nurse Marino in Shutter Island. Several independent films such as Apocalypse Road and Cherokee Creek continue to push on to cult status among indie film aficionados. In 2015 she starred opposite Terry Kiser as his wife in the thriller The Bone Sculptor. Maintaining dual residences between Los Angeles, CA and Dallas, Texas, Sciutto has also been the host of the Dallas Fresh series that airs on CBS-11/KTVT, a featured reporter for WFAA, and was a recurring guest in Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Dallas.
