Neeraj Sood is a film actor, hailing from India and exclusively works in Bollywood cinema. The most talented also works as a TV actor in various Indian TV serials for which he has gained huge popularity. He is mainly known for the roles played in movies, such as; Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, “Samay”, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan”. He worked in TV series like Humse Hai Life and Zindagi Khatti Meethi. He was previously seen in movies like Tere Naam (2003), The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey (2005), Rocket Singh: The Salesman of the Year (2009). His other movies include Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), Agneepath (2012) and Darr@The Mall (2014). His upcoming movie Tera Mera Tedha Medha is scheduled to release in September 2015.

Neeraj Sood was born on 18 October 1969 in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. After completing his basic education from Vijay High School, Mandi, he acquired his graduation and post-graduation degree from Vallabh Govt College, Mandi. He discovered his passion for acting while taking part in college plays. Coming from a middle-class family Neeraj Sood did not have the money to pay for Indian Theatre so he decided to join National School of Drama, New Delhi. After spending three years (1996-1999) at NSD and acquiring a diploma in acting, Neeraj finally came down to Mumbai to follow his dream of becoming an actor.
