Nandhu is a respected Indian film actor who works mostly in Malayalam films. His real moniker is Nandalal Krishnamurthy, but he is known by his stage name Nandu. He was born in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His mother died just two months after his birth. He was raised by his uncle and aunt, who treated him like their own son and loved him very much. His father was a very sensitive individual who never remarried and passed away while taking table tennis lessons. Unlike his father, who was a table tennis coach, Nandhu wanted to be an actor. He left his graduation ceremony in order to pursue a career in the South Indian film industry immediately after he graduated. He began his acting career in Venu Nagavally’s ‘Sarvakalasala’ (1987). In the years that followed, he was frequently cast as someone who went to college and looked like a young student.

In 2013 and 2014, he worked on a number of Malayalam films including Buddha Chirikkunnu and God’s Own Country. Later, he acted in Ms. Lekha Tharoor, Raman Nair, 6 B Paradise, and Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus as Lakshmi’s Father. He has also worked in the action comedy film ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi. In 2014, he acted in a number of films, including Kunjachan, Don’t Worry Be Happy, Hotel California, and Immanuel, among other things.
