Michael DeMello is an American actor. DeMello works as an actor in U.S. series and U.S. films. He played roles in The Great Debaters – The Power of Words (The Great Debaters) and in Shuttle – Endstation Nightmare! (Shuttle) as well as in Surrogates – My Second Me (Surrogates). He played other roles in The Cop department store (Paul Blart: Mall Cop) and in The Womanizer – The Night of the Ex-Friends of Girlfriends Past as well as in Difficult People.In addition, he was seen as Gregory in Joy – All but usual (Joy) and as Dana Kazmir in Elementary. He also played Murphy in the US horror comedy Condemned as well as Mikey in Sneaky Pete In Naomi & Ely – Love, friendship and everything in between (Naomi and Ely-s No Kiss List) he played Bouncer. Born onFebruary 13, 1974 in Fall River, Massachusetts, Michael DeMello always had a passion for the arts. After high school, he studied at the University of Connecticut and then transferred to The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. It was there where he began his professional acting career. Since then, he has worked extensively in theatre and television. His New York theater credits include: “Baby With the Bathwater” (the Studio Theatre, Washington Square Theater), “The Good Negro” (with Mary Louise Parker), “A Call for Mr. Lincoln”, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry IV Parts 1 & 2, as well as “Hir”, which was nominated for a Richard Rodgers Award.
