Earlier he was a sportsman and made his debut in singing with song Darshan Karke which was released on 22 November 2013 by Moviebox record label.Mankirat made his movie debut with Punjabi movie Mai Teri Tu Mera in 2016. Mankirt moved to Chandigarh for further studies and used to participate in singing competitions in his college’s annual and youth fests.
